Job Summary

Serve as a hands-on Senior Data Migration Engineer and delivery anchor for a large-scale migration from Informatica PowerCenter to a modern data stack. You’ll translate complex Informatica workflows into Python extract/load pipelines, dbt transformation models, and Airflow DAG orchestration. Own end-to-end delivery quality, including data quality testing, CI/CD integration for dbt and Airflow, troubleshooting during SIT/UAT, and producing technical documentation and handover materials.

Key Responsibilities

•Assess complex Informatica workflows and translate sessions, mappings, and parameterizations into equivalent Python EL scripts and dbt transformation models.
•Develop and maintain Python EL pipelines to land high-volume data into the target warehouse using SQLAlchemy and Oracle/SQL Server connectivity and bulk export tools.
•Design dbt models aligned to Informatica mapping logic, applying model layering, macros, incremental strategies, and snapshot patterns.
•Create dbt-native tests and custom Python unit tests to validate transformation correctness and data quality.
•Build Airflow DAGs to orchestrate Python EL and dbt end-to-end, then troubleshoot performance and data discrepancies during SIT/UAT and maintain documentation/runbooks.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of Informatica PowerCenter experience, including mappings, sessions, workflows, and parameterization.
•3+ years of dbt Core experience, including model layering, macros, tests, and incremental materializations.
•3+ years of Airflow experience, including DAG authoring and task dependencies with scheduling integration.
•5+ years of Python experience for production batch processing and parallelism.
•5+ years of SQL experience with complex joins, window functions, and aggregations across large datasets.
