Job Summary

Lead global payroll compliance by designing and embedding preventive and detective controls across payroll and HR systems. Own payroll governance, policy, and audit readiness, and act as a subject matter expert on wage and hour laws, entitlements, and tax requirements. Standardize pay processes across regions, drive transformation initiatives, and partner with HR, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Labor Relations, and IT to improve accuracy, reduce exceptions, and strengthen stakeholder confidence.

Key Responsibilities

•Establish and maintain payroll governance, policy, and audit readiness, embedding preventative and detective controls aligned with applicable regulations and Boeing standards.
•Serve as a subject matter expert on wage and hour laws, statutory entitlements, tax requirements, and other pay-related regulations.
•Build and document standardized payroll and HR processes, and drive transformation initiatives to reduce operational risk.
•Design integrated compliance frameworks using payroll/HR systems, defining monitoring and automated controls to detect anomalies and measure risk.
•Lead payroll risk management activities including audits, approvals for high-risk adjustments, reconciliations, and remediation; set KPIs and continuous improvement cycles.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•10+ years of experience in HR operations and payroll compliance in large, complex, multi-state and international environments.
•Deep knowledge of global payroll legislation, tax rules, wage and hour laws, entitlements, and payroll compliance best practices.
•Hands-on experience with payroll and HR systems such as Workday, ServiceNow, UKG, CloudPay, ADP, SAP, or equivalent.
•Track record designing and implementing controls, monitoring frameworks, and audit programs.
•Strong analytical and communication skills to interpret payroll data and convey technical/legal requirements to non-technical stakeholders.
