Location: Seattle
Workplace: Hybrid
Employment Type: Full time
Job Function: Software Engineering

Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect and build end-to-end agentic experiences: design secure, observable, and reliable workflows (planning, tool-use, memory, retrieval, execution, and feedback loops) for production.
  • •Platform-grade implementation: deliver services/APIs enabling agentic capabilities on a multi-tenant SaaS platform with latency, scale, resiliency, and manageability guarantees.
  • •Safety, security, and trust: build guardrails for agentic behavior (policy enforcement, prompts/security, secrets handling, auditability, abuse prevention, data boundaries).
  • •Evaluation and quality: define and automate evaluation strategies (offline tests, regression harnesses, telemetry-driven iteration, failure-mode analysis).
  • •Operational excellence: own reliability through instrumentation, tracing, debugging, runbooks, incident learnings, and continuous improvement in production.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience designing highly available, scalable distributed services with strong operational rigor (resiliency patterns, rate limiting, backpressure, multi-region considerations).
  • •Proficiency in one or more of Golang, Python, Java with production-quality coding, testing, and API design practices.
  • •Hands-on experience building agentic applications/services (tool orchestration, function calling/tool APIs, memory strategies, planning/execution loops, and failure recovery).
  • •Security mindset: understanding risks and mitigations in agentic/LLM systems (prompt injection, data exfiltration, tool misuse, authorization boundaries, tenant isolation).
  • •Cloud-native proficiency: experience with AWS, Azure, GCP and cloud-native architectures.
