Key Responsibilities

•Triages, reproduces, and resolves complex customer or field issues in large-scale or production environments.
•Participates in designing and executing tests for wired networking and wireless LAN features across cloud-native and distributed systems.
•Collaborates with development, QA, SRE, and support teams to diagnose root causes and implement robust fixes.
•Maintains and evolves test plans, scripts, and automation to improve coverage and efficiency.
•Assists in building AI and automation tools for debugging, log analysis, and issue resolution.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 110,000 - 120,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Hands-on experience with wired networking protocols (VLAN, IP, STP, TCP/UDP, VRRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, IS-IS, SPBM) or Enterprise Wireless LAN testing and validation
•Solid understanding of network security concepts (AAA, 802.1X, VPN, Captive Portal, IPsec, Firewalls)
•Strong knowledge of network infrastructure services (DHCP, DNS, RADIUS, LDAP, SSH, Certificate Authorities)
•Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
•Strong understanding of cloud-native and distributed systems (microservices, APIs, service communication)
•Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
•Knowledge of cloud middleware like RabbitMQ and Kafka
•Proven ability to triage, reproduce, and resolve complex issues in large-scale/production environments
•Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Loki)
•Strong RCA skills across networking, application, OS, and cloud layers
•Experience building/using AI and automation tools for debugging and log analysis
•Strong programming and debugging skills in Python, Java, or similar languages
