Job Summary

Build and maintain scalable, high-performance back-end features for an agentic process automation platform. Prototype solutions, perform root-cause analysis, and review/approve design and code approaches. Write clean, maintainable Java code with strong testing, logging, and performance tuning. Collaborate closely with Product, UX, SDET, QA, and Support to deliver user-facing experiences, while mentoring teammates and driving adoption of new development tools and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and maintain scalable, performance-oriented back-end features using modern back-end technologies.
•Build prototypes to explore new scenarios, perform root-cause analysis, and determine solution approaches.
•Review design and code, approve solution approaches, and work self-directed on projects.
•Write clean, maintainable, efficient code following back-end best practices, including code reviews.
•Collaborate with Product Management, UX, Backend Engineers, SDET, and Support to deliver industry-leading features; mentor team members and assist with reviews.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of back-end development experience with cloud application/infrastructure development and architecture.
•Experience architecting microservices and scalable cloud apps in fast-paced environments (8+ years desired).
•Strong debugging and performance tuning, including finding and fixing memory leaks for web applications.
•Strong knowledge of core Java/JEE, JSON, and REST APIs (JAX-RS, Spring, Spark Java).
•Hands-on experience with logging (Log4j), unit testing (JUnit/TestNG), and enterprise apps using Spring and Hibernate.
