Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain scalable, performance-oriented back-end features using modern back-end technologies.
  • •Build prototypes to explore new scenarios, perform root-cause analysis, and determine solution approaches.
  • •Review design and code, approve solution approaches, and work self-directed on projects.
  • •Write clean, maintainable, efficient code following back-end best practices, including code reviews.
  • •Collaborate with Product Management, UX, Backend Engineers, SDET, and Support to deliver industry-leading features; mentor team members and assist with reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of back-end development experience with cloud application/infrastructure development and architecture.
  • •Experience architecting microservices and scalable cloud apps in fast-paced environments (8+ years desired).
  • •Strong debugging and performance tuning, including finding and fixing memory leaks for web applications.
  • •Strong knowledge of core Java/JEE, JSON, and REST APIs (JAX-RS, Spring, Spark Java).
  • •Hands-on experience with logging (Log4j), unit testing (JUnit/TestNG), and enterprise apps using Spring and Hibernate.
