Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the seasonal men’s and women’s outerwear range end-to-end, from concept through line freeze.
  • •Translate seasonal creative direction into silhouettes, proportions, and details while holding design integrity through reviews and presentations.
  • •Select shells, membranes, insulations, and linings aligned to performance and price tiers, balancing protection, weight, packability, and cost.
  • •Write tech packs, keep design data current, hit development calendar dates, and review protos and fit samples.
  • •Benchmark competitors on outerwear construction and price, travel to factories to finalize prototypes, and align with PLM, Development, Materials, and Color & Graphics.

Key Requirements

  • •3-4 years designing apparel for a sports, outdoor, or lifestyle brand, with outerwear experience preferred.
  • •A portfolio showing outerwear from concept through production, including line sheets and construction detail.
  • •Working knowledge of membranes and insulation and how they relate to performance.
  • •Construction fluency and comfort managing a fixed calendar with several live seasons.
  • •A degree in apparel, fashion, or product design (or an equivalent portfolio), plus fluent English.
