Key Responsibilities

•Provide onsite leadership for 24x7 UC operations in Arlington, VA, managing staffing, shift rotations, and on-call schedules to deliver uninterrupted service.
•Oversee configuration, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management for telephony, conferencing, and video systems, ensuring interoperability with network and security controls.
•Direct UCMT configuration and discovery, maintain near real-time monitoring, and manage SNMP/trap handling with integration to ServiceNow CMDB and ITOM Event Management.
•Lead incident bridge calls and drive root cause analysis for P1/P2 UC incidents, coordinating troubleshooting across network, security, and application teams.
•Own CMDB integration accuracy, manage provisioning and MACD/account lifecycle processes with Change Management alignment, and coordinate vendor/OEM support along with documentation and audit readiness.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Minimum 10 years managing server and support services, including at least 3 years in an IT outsourcing environment managing contractor personnel for 24x7 services.
•Demonstrated experience leading UC engineering teams supporting telephony, video conferencing, and collaboration platforms.
•ITIL 4 Foundation certification (required).
•Strong knowledge of unified communications architectures, including SIP, VoIP, QoS, dial plans, call routing, gateways, and media traversal.
•Experience directing UC monitoring and operations (e.g., discovery, SNMP/MIB management, trap handling, topology mapping) and integrating UC monitoring with ServiceNow ITOM/ITSM and CMDB.
