Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and timely while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading/unloading and return equipment to designated areas using specialized equipment when needed.
  • •Maintain required delivery paperwork and perform routine service checks, reporting maintenance issues to the Shipping Supervisor.

Key Requirements

  • •Must hold a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle weight.
  • •Must pass background and drug testing and a DOT physical for trucks over 10k lbs.
  • •Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicles.
  • •Demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer service skills when speaking professionally with customers and staff.
  • •Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds and handle prolonged periods sitting in a trailer cab.
