Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate and implement the Kraft Heinz Sanitation Program across the manufacturing plant under the Sanitation Manager’s direction.
  • •Provide leadership and guidance to sanitation coordinators, analysts, leads/teams, chemical supplier representatives, and outside pest control operators.
  • •Monitor weekly sanitation records for compliance and follow up to ensure adherence to food safety programs and limits.
  • •Lead sanitation improvement projects, including automation and expansion initiatives, and track monthly plant KPIs.
  • •Support food safety systems including FSSC certification participation and HACCP validations, and lead sanitation training and audit activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree preferred in food science (or equivalent education and experience) related to sanitary food production and government regulations.
  • •2+ years of experience in Quality, Laboratory, or Production with an emphasis on Quality Control.
  • •Knowledge of HACCP, microbiology, sanitation, chemical safety, pest control, and quality systems.
  • •Understand and align with government regulations relating to OSHA, FDA, USDA, and EPA.
  • •Computer skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; work schedule is primarily 3rd shift with periodic shift changes as needed.
