Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor electronic security systems to support MTC security and safety posture.
  • •Operate the telephone console and coordinate with MTC staff to assist customers navigating the facility.
  • •Verify security of vaults, secure rooms, and containers used for classified material, including end-of-day checks.
  • •Monitor alarm signals, use two-way radio to communicate with MTC staff and external agencies, and activate alarms when needed.
  • •Provide access badging based on clearance verification and record security status on SF 702/security container check sheets.
