Job Summary

Support Corporate Accounting with external financial reporting, including preparation of SEC Forms 10-K and 10-Q, ad-hoc SEC filings, quarterly earnings materials, and Board/Audit Committee reporting. Prepare and tag SEC documents using iXBRL, compile supporting documentation, and complete monthly/quarterly/annual governmental census and survey reporting. Also handle benefits accounting for 401(k), stock compensation, pension/medical plans, self-insurance reserves, and SOX 404 control execution and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare annual and quarterly SEC filings (Forms 10-K and 10-Q), along with other ad-hoc SEC filings and quarterly earnings materials.
•Perform iXBRL research and tagging and compile supporting documentation to ensure external reports are accurate and properly documented.
•Complete required monthly/quarterly/annual governmental census and survey reporting, coordinating with plants to meet deadlines.
•Account for benefits-related areas including 401(k), stock purchase plans, stock options/stock compensation, pension plans, and medical plans.
•Understand and execute SOX 404 risks by documenting controls and working with internal teams and external contacts such as auditors, actuaries, and administrators.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
•3+ years of accounting experience.

•Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and accounting processes.
•Strong written, presentation, and verbal communication skills; CPA preferred or eligible to sit for the CPA Exam.
