Job Summary

Support mission training complex capabilities by integrating and operating Live/Virtual/Constructive (LVC) systems so commanders and staff can train on realistic scenarios. Configure, test, troubleshoot, and document Linux-based simulation systems, apply updates and patches, and enable interoperability between Army and joint simulations. Provide hands-on training support and ensure security and risk management activities for DIACAP/RMF and Authority to Operate (ATO).

Key Responsibilities

•Integrate LVC systems so commanders and staff can train against realistic scenarios.
•Configure, test, troubleshoot, and document Linux-based simulation systems, including updating technical documentation as needed.
•Apply system updates, quarterly patches, and IAVAs; adjust configurations or software to resolve user issues and meet design requirements.
•Execute and support training events through user account management, workstation player/controller training, and hands-on exercise execution.
•Implement DIACAP/RMF security and risk management activities to maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) and provide rapid technical support during high-visibility training exercises.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•3+ years of related experience (preferred military experience at the tactical to operational level).
•AA in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, and training.
•Secret clearance required within 90 days upon starting; must have Interim Secret.
•Experience configuring, maintaining, operating, and integrating JLVC federate systems, including understanding of HLA and RTI and knowledge of DIS protocols.
•Experience with Windows Server and Linux administration, including managing gateway services, federation interfaces, and simulation connectivity.
