Key Responsibilities

  • •Originate and shape innovative Defined Benefit de-risking solutions, driving client solutions and winning new business across the PRT market.
  • •Develop and deliver compelling tender responses and proposals within demanding timescales, and lead client pitches and commercial negotiations.
  • •Structure and execute Bulk Purchase Annuity (BPA) transactions and negotiate/execute complex PRT transactions through to completion.
  • •Oversee post-transaction pricing activity and provide strategic oversight, governance, risk management, and milestone delivery.
  • •Contribute to Defined Benefit Solutions strategy and lead/develop a high-performing team with inclusive, high-accountability culture.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven track record originating, negotiating, and executing complex Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) transactions.
  • •Deep market expertise and strong analytical capability covering transaction economics, including pricing, investments, capital, and reinsurance considerations.
  • •Experience building trusted relationships with trustees, Employee Benefit Consultants, reinsurers, and senior stakeholders.
  • •Experience leading and developing high-performing actuarial, analytical, or specialist teams.
  • •Ability to deliver high-quality tender responses and complex projects against demanding deadlines.
