Key Responsibilities

•Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior and executive leadership on acoustics, noise, and vibration.
•Act as a thought leader and primary technical authority across the business.
•Lead a specialized team and represent WSP in client engagements, regulatory discussions, and industry forums.
•Drive innovation and contribute to precedent-setting, visible, and strategic assignments.
•Guide, mentor, and influence employees at all levels; anticipate business needs and secure resources.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Master’s or PhD preferred in acoustics or a related discipline.
•P.Eng. (Ontario) designation required.
•20+ years of experience in acoustics, noise, and vibration, including 10+ years as a technical lead.
•Advanced expertise in environmental noise, building acoustics, and vibration analysis.
•Proficiency with modelling tools such as CadnaA, Odeon, EASE, TNM, and STAMSON.
