Key Responsibilities

  • •Proactively monitor Akamai network technical operations for the EMEA territory to meet customer requirements.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams, network partners, and ISPs to troubleshoot and resolve network and performance issues.
  • •Manage escalations from Service Performance, Network Account Managers, Network Operations, and other groups.
  • •Work with team members and network architects on traffic optimization to identify enhancements and improvements.
  • •Maintain a comprehensive understanding of internet infrastructure across the region.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related field, including experience with application-level protocols and IP security.
  • •Knowledge of network protocols and implementations including DNS, TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, and SSL.
  • •Experience with routing protocols including BGP and OSPF.
  • •Comfort working in a Linux/Unix-like environment.
  • •Be CCNP or equivalent experience.
