Key Responsibilities

  • •Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
  • •Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • •Use CAMP and approved marketing tools to proactively reach customers, set appointments, and conduct periodic financial reviews.
  • •Cross-sell to the existing customer base and support outside sales activities, including community events and business sales calls.
  • •Process teller transactions and support retail product opening/servicing while participating in the consumer loan and bankcard process; refer customers to business partners as appropriate.

Key Requirements

  • •Complete a 4–8 week onboarding and education program to become a Retail Personal Banker I and obtain certification at the end of the program.
  • •College degree or work experience with transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
  • •Sales capability to acquire new consumer households and small business customers and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
  • •Ability to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analyzing credit and financial information.
  • •This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
