Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and build scalable, resilient, secure cloud-native backend services, contributing to frontend development when needed.
  • •Contribute to the technical vision and architecture for critical platform services.
  • •Establish engineering standards, architectural patterns, and best practices to improve platform quality, reliability, and maintainability.
  • •Collaborate with Product Management and Architecture/Engineering leaders to align technical investments with business objectives and guide teams through complex challenges.
  • •Lead design reviews, perform code reviews/troubleshooting and performance optimization, and drive reliability improvements through observability, automation, and continuous improvement practices.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical discipline.
  • •10+ years designing, building, and operating large-scale commercial software systems.
  • •Demonstrated ability leading architecture and delivery of complex platform initiatives across multiple teams.
  • •Strong software engineering with proficiency in one or more languages such as Go, C++, TypeScript, Node.js, C#, Python, or Java (Go and C++ valued).
  • •Experience with distributed systems, microservices, cloud-native applications, API design, and modern cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), plus CI/CD and reliability/security/performance fundamentals.
