Job Summary

Provide senior technical leadership for direct liquid cooling (DLC) mechanical/thermal systems supporting AI platforms. Resolve complex factory, deployment, and post-deployment escalations, troubleshoot cooling infrastructure components, and drive reliability improvements through root cause analysis and corrective actions. Partner with cross-functional teams on new product introductions and manufacturing scale-up, while communicating findings and recommendations to customers and executive stakeholders and maintaining engineering documentation.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the primary customer-facing mechanical/thermal expert for AI platform escalations involving DLC systems, driving end-to-end resolution.
•Diagnose and resolve complex issues across cold plates, manifolds, tubing, quick disconnects, CDUs, pumps, flow control, leak detection, and monitoring systems while validating thermal performance and cooling efficiency.
•Conduct deep root cause investigations (RCA), implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), analyze fleet-wide telemetry and failure trends, and lead design/quality/cost improvements.
•Support product development and manufacturing scale-up by partnering on NPI, pilot builds, manufacturing ramps, deployment readiness, and integration in customer data centers.
•Communicate technical findings, mitigation strategies, and recommendations to customers, executives, and field teams, while maintaining engineering documentation and escalation reports.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 116,000 - 151,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) with 5+ years of mechanical and thermal engineering experience, including deep expertise in Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC).
•Strong understanding of AI/HPC platforms, GPU servers, high-density compute environments, and data center cooling infrastructure integration.
•Proven experience in failure analysis and reliability engineering, including root cause methodologies and leading complex customer-facing issue resolution.
•Experience supporting factory operations, manufacturing processes, supplier quality management, and product deployment activities in fast-paced environments.
•Proficiency with CAD tools (Creo, SolidWorks, NX) and engineering documentation, plus strong executive-level communication and willingness to travel for support.
