Job Summary

Drive manufacturing quality excellence by enforcing contract manufacturing (CM) quality requirements and leading quality metrics, 8D problem-solving, and continuous improvement across the full product lifecycle. Support customer, vendor, and internal CM audits, including sample verification and ongoing reliability testing/monitoring. Stabilize quality systems for new product launches and coordinate process stability, ramp readiness, and RMA preparedness. Analyze customer failure data and ensure closure of root-cause and corrective actions with CM and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

•Communicate and enforce CM quality requirements, using quality metrics and 8D methodologies to resolve or prevent quality issues across the product lifecycle.
•Support customer, vendor, and internal CM audits; facilitate quality sample verification and ongoing reliability testing/monitoring (ORT/ORM).
•Stabilize quality systems and best practices for new product launches by working with cross-functional teams to confirm process stability and volume ramp readiness.
•Ensure RMA preparedness and coordinate Return Material Authorization readiness with relevant teams.
•Analyze customer failure data, generate customer-facing RCA and corrective/preventive action reports, and review FA/8D closure at CM and vendor sites.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•BS degree (or equivalent experience) in Quality, Engineering, or another highly relevant major.
•5 to 10 years of professional experience in quality or manufacturing engineering.
•2+ years of direct experience with optical component assembly.
•Strong statistical data analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive solutions through cross-functional teams.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with willingness to travel regionally within Asia (occasionally to Canada).
