Key Responsibilities

  • •Communicate and enforce CM quality requirements, using quality metrics and 8D methodologies to resolve or prevent quality issues across the product lifecycle.
  • •Support customer, vendor, and internal CM audits; facilitate quality sample verification and ongoing reliability testing/monitoring (ORT/ORM).
  • •Stabilize quality systems and best practices for new product launches by working with cross-functional teams to confirm process stability and volume ramp readiness.
  • •Ensure RMA preparedness and coordinate Return Material Authorization readiness with relevant teams.
  • •Analyze customer failure data, generate customer-facing RCA and corrective/preventive action reports, and review FA/8D closure at CM and vendor sites.

Key Requirements

  • •BS degree (or equivalent experience) in Quality, Engineering, or another highly relevant major.
  • •5 to 10 years of professional experience in quality or manufacturing engineering.
  • •2+ years of direct experience with optical component assembly.
  • •Strong statistical data analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive solutions through cross-functional teams.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with willingness to travel regionally within Asia (occasionally to Canada).
