  • •Technically lead or verify flood hydrological assessments used for flood alleviation schemes, reservoir engineering, and flood risk assessments.
  • •Technically review or verify reports documenting hydrological assessments.
  • •Support Water team business development for national and international client projects.
  • •Mentor team members in hydrological estimation to support professional development.
  • •Deliver thought leadership, represent AECOM at conferences, and drive innovation including AI solutions.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree (BSc/BEng/MSc) in Hydrology, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Geography, or related discipline.
  • •More than 15 years’ experience leading the estimation of flood flows using FEH and REFH2 for flood mapping and reservoir engineering.
  • •Deep understanding of statistical hydrological analysis and experience with hydraulic modellers to calibrate hydraulic models.
  • •Experience in rating reviews.
  • •Chartered member of ICE or CIWEM, with strong GIS skills using QGIS, ArcGIS and/or MapInfo.
