Job Summary

Experienced Civil Supervisor leading on-site construction activities for Oil, Gas & New Energies projects in Abu Dhabi. Oversees field construction of small to medium sized projects, manages budgets and schedules (up to $25M), ensures quality and safety, and coordinates with subcontractors and engineering teams onshore at Abu Dhabi sites.

Job Function: Construction, Civil & Site Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Provide construction management and supervision for field construction on small to medium sized projects, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules and quality standards.
•Oversee all aspects of field construction for a discipline or area, including direction of construction specifications and coordination with clients and contractors.
•Manage and control project cost and schedule for on-site construction and ensure alignment with contract requirements.
•Coordinate installation, commissioning and completion activities for materials and equipment, and ensure safety, quality and environmental responsibilities are defined and communicated to workers.
•Monitor work progress, report against the plan, and drive safety, quality and environmental processes on-site

Key Requirements

•Typically qualified to ISCED Level 5 (technical diploma / apprenticeship) or equivalent with industrial field construction experience
•Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification field construction experience in a relevant industry
•Well organized, observant with strong interpersonal and communication skills
•Ability to work with timelines/targets and drive culture change when required
•Leadership ability and capability to supervise and coordinate construction activities and teams
