Job Function: Business Development & Partnerships

Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner due diligence: verify development teams, land, funding/deposit protection, SPV details, director adverse reports, financial statements, and run AML checks.
  • •Development due diligence: review lease and construction details, warranty documentation, service charge estimates, completion protections, fund-holding details, and check against legislation.
  • •Legal onboarding and contracts: review draft contracts/leases, onboard new development partners, manage internal agreements, and coordinate solicitors/enquiries.
  • •Pre-development and in-person partner meetings: prepare DD ahead of meetings, run market research, support pricing/exit plan prep, take notes and track follow-ups.
  • •Launch through completion: support client-facing assets and proposals, coordinate launch activity, manage after-sales meetings, track exchange/conveyancing, and prepare pre-completion handover and valuation documents.

Key Requirements

  • •A mix of sales and legal experience in UK residential property, development, or construction, including hands-on due diligence and contract review.
  • •Practical understanding of off-plan sales (reservation agreements, deposit protection, exchange, long-stop dates).
  • •Ability to read a lease, build contract, and accounts to form a clear risk view.
  • •Comfort running AML and company director checks and knowing when to escalate.
  • •Clear written communication for a commercial audience, with strong organisation across multiple live schemes.
