Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake numerical analysis using specialist software to support studies of dams and reservoirs.
  • •Keep up-to-date with regulatory legislation and guidelines affecting design work.
  • •Carry out feasibility studies and apply theoretical knowledge to new situations to support continuous improvement.
  • •Prepare designs, drawings, specifications, and contracts, and write clear reports and prepare presentations for colleagues, clients, and regulators.
  • •Join site visits to support dam inspections and broaden understanding of asset performance in the real world.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related field (e.g., geology, geotechnics, structures).
  • •Master’s degree in relevant subjects (advantage).
  • •Water-related modules or relevant work experience (advantage).
  • •Enthusiastic, hard-working, and technically proficient with curiosity, strong research skills, and an inquisitive mindset.
  • •Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to structure and prioritize work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
