Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to planning assessments and strategic planning projects across NSW, Canberra, Newcastle, and the Hunter region.
  • •Review plans and technical reports in support of applications and proposals to deliver high-quality planning outcomes.
  • •Support directors and project managers with planning reports, due diligence assessments, and approval documentation for major infrastructure projects.
  • •Undertake research, policy reviews, and analysis to inform project planning strategies, approval pathways, and statutory compliance.
  • •Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver planning inputs for major project approvals and masterplanning/urban design, and support fee proposal and bid preparation.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, or a closely related discipline with approximately 2+ years of professional urban or environmental planning experience.
  • •Proven ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality planning outcomes.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing clear, concise reports and liaising with clients, stakeholders, and approval authorities.
  • •A collaborative, flexible, solutions-focused approach that can adapt to changing project priorities.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office; working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and GIS/spatial tools is advantageous.
