Job Summary

Lead the Geotechnical Engineering subsector nationally, overseeing a team of 200+ geotechnical and field geotechnical specialists across Sweden. Drive strategy, budgets, profitability, and monthly reporting, and implement sector Earth & Environments decisions and guidelines. Manage organizational structure, staffing, and long-term capability, including succession and workplace environment work. Collaborate closely with adjacent units and stakeholders on complex geotechnical investigations and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the national Geotechnical subsector and ensure delivery against goals and budget in both short and long term.
•Own profitability and steer economic follow-up based on results and resources.
•Develop strategy and translate strategy and business plans into operational goals for the subsector.
•Ensure organizational structure, staffing, and competence development, including succession planning and workplace environment work.
•Lead and develop leadership, culture, and change initiatives to improve efficiency, cooperation, and a learning culture.

Key Requirements

•Many years of experience as a people manager, including leading through managers.
•Relevant higher-education degree in the field of geotechnics (e.g., geotechnical engineering/civil engineering).
•Experience developing business, processes, and commercial activities.
•Strong understanding of the environmental and societal development sector.
•Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, with strategic and analytical ability to guide subsector development.
