Job Summary

Support groundwater modelling across Western and Northern Canada as part of the Prairies & North Water team. Develop conceptual/site models and numerical groundwater models (MODFLOW-based) for municipal, industrial, Indigenous, and resource-sector projects; interpret data, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to reports, safety, and knowledge sharing.

Key Responsibilities

•Support groundwater flow and contaminant transport modelling for infrastructure, environmental, and remediation projects.
•Develop and refine conceptual site models and numerical groundwater models under senior technical guidance.
•Assist with the design and interpretation of hydrogeological investigations, including aquifer testing and data analysis.
•Translate modelling results into inputs for reports, regulators, and project teams.
•Collaborate with multidisciplinary water, environmental, and engineering teams to integrate groundwater science into broader project solutions.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 76,100 - 102,200 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Hydrogeology, Geological Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
•Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) designation, or eligibility to obtain
•Demonstrated experience in groundwater modelling using industry‑standard software (e.g., MODFLOW‑based platforms)
•Experience with hydrogeological assessments, aquifer characterization, and interpretation of field and monitoring data
•Background supporting environmental, infrastructure, or remediation projects within a consulting environment
