Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the day-to-day IT counterpart for trading, trade execution, chartering, shipping operations, crushing, and finance desks to ensure key processes run without interruption.
  • •Own integration integrity across CTRM, maritime/chartering, plant, and ERP finance systems by monitoring reconciliation breaks and driving root-cause resolution with COEs and platform principals.
  • •Drive solution assessments and evaluations across business and IT teams, including creation and management of RFP processes and BU-specific solution architecture.
  • •Monitor roll-out of new applications to ensure business controls and limited or no issues, and manage incident resolution with SLA metrics aligned to the business.
  • •Advise senior leadership on emerging applications technologies and manage PoCs, adoption plans, and ongoing user enablement and response processes for applications queries.

Key Requirements

  • •Mid-management capability to execute and deliver the digitisation, automation, and AI roadmap aligned to strategic business objectives.
  • •Deep, hands-on knowledge of commodity trading, shipping, and food manufacturing processes, including trade-to-cash and settlement cycles.
  • •Fluency in the supporting technology estate, including CTRM/ETRM platforms (e.g., Aspect CTRM), maritime/chartering systems (e.g., Veson IMOS), and cargo/tonnage tools (e.g., Shipfix).
  • •Ability to convert transformation ambitions into an executable technology roadmap, sequence it against business readiness, and jointly drive benefit realisation with IT and the business.
  • •Own business IT budgets and manage stakeholder relationships, timely communication, demand prioritisation, and co-creation with COEs and platform principals.
