Job Summary

Lead the Insurance-segment external financial reporting function, ensuring quarterly and annual disclosures for Global Atlantic and KKR are accurate, compliant with SEC/GAAP requirements, and delivered on time. Oversee preparation and review of reporting materials including MD&A and earnings releases, coordinate internal/external SEC review, maintain compliance processes (SOX/SEC/FASB), and coach junior accountants while collaborating with finance, policy, counsel, audit, and investor relations.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee timely preparation, review, or compilation of quarterly and annual reports, including drafting and reviewing MD&A.
•Coordinate internal and external review of SEC and other financial reports.
•Maintain compliance with SEC and GAAP reporting requirements.
•Provide process analysis and maintenance for regulatory compliance (SOX, SEC, FASB) and recommend automation and improvements.
•Supervise and coach junior accountants/associates and assist with special projects as needed.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 120,000 - 190,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, data-analysis, or a related field.
•Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
•10+ years of cumulative work experience.
•Experience in SEC or GAAP reporting roles at life insurance companies or similar financial services organizations.
•Experience with disclosure management solutions such as Workiva and familiarity with ERPs/consolidation platforms (e.g., PeopleSoft, SAP, OneStream).
