Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide metallurgical guidance by applying fundamentals of materials science and engineering to support process design and production execution.
  • •Plan and work on technology assessment and/or development programs to improve productivity and quality, increase forged product performance, and develop products for market-share growth.
  • •Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal sales/marketing and engineering teams to develop or qualify new materials and predictive modeling to add value for customers.
  • •Help plan and execute production-type special projects under contract with commercial or governmental customers.
  • •Participate in coordinating and guiding project deliverables across forged products business locations and various ATI locations, including progress reporting to senior leadership.
