Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop cementing job designs using cementing knowledge, including preliminary calculations, computer simulations, fluid system design, lab test requests, and review/approval of test results.
  • •Provide operational expertise and well-site technical support by verifying job design using final input parameters and engineering tools.
  • •Perform post job analysis and recommend, implement, and share improvements; write and present case histories and industry papers (e.g., SPE).
  • •Tailor cement solutions with technical customer base and collaborate with drilling/production engineers to meet customer needs and commercial expectations; support tender preparation and performance optimization plans (POP).
  • •Conduct technical investigations of irregular jobs and manage CPIs (Correction, Prevention, Improvement); assist PSL managers with improving utilization, reducing costs, and increasing service efficiency.

Key Requirements

  • •Completion of an undergraduate degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math discipline.
  • •Minimum 2 years of experience in cementing.
  • •Completion of required cementing competencies.
  • •Ability to work independently.
  • •Ability to mentor junior members and ensure they follow the Halliburton Management System and development plans.
