Job Function: IT Operations (Systems/Network Admin)

Key Responsibilities

  • •Proactively monitor work queues, review tickets and client requests, and resolve incidents and requests of medium complexity.
  • •Identify, analyse, and log issues to prevent escalation, and update tickets with actions taken.
  • •Coordinate with clients and internal teams to restore services and ensure changes are executed with clear risk identification and mitigation plans.
  • •Perform shift handover by highlighting key tickets and upcoming critical tasks; escalate tickets when needed to Centres of Excellence (CoE) and other teams.
  • •Contribute to automation efforts and change management by logging change requests, executing approved maintenance, auditing ticket quality, and supporting disaster recovery as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Proficiency in networking technologies such as Pulse Secure SSL VPN, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco Nexus switches/routers/firewalls, plus familiarity with ticketing tools.
  • •At least one technical certification in the above-mentioned technologies.
  • •Strong planning skills to anticipate and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively across different cultures and social groups, with client-centric communication and active listening.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computing (or equivalent qualification) or equivalent work experience.
