Key Responsibilities

  • •Prior to painting and insulation start, review procedures and material data sheets for compliance with project specifications and site operational requirements.
  • •Ensure quality control checks and tests are carried out with records maintained (e.g., surface preparation, dry film thickness, adhesion tests, and temperature/humidity) per ITP, method statements, and specifications.
  • •Where applicable, supervise paint shop activities and coordinate with contractors and other disciplines to support robust technical decisions.
  • •Record and verify approved modifications/corrections on redlined ‘as-built’ piping line list paint and insulation codes with field personnel.
  • •Enforce safe and ethical behaviour and uphold standards to support safe, reliable operations and client satisfaction.

Key Requirements

  • •Vocation, diploma, or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or a related field.
  • •Minimum 10 years’ experience working on live plant, greenfield, and turnaround/revamp work in oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, power plant, or similar facilities.
  • •Extensive track record managing painting and insulation construction activities in the oil & gas or petrochemical sector.
  • •Experience supervising construction staff to achieve effective construction execution.
  • •Excellent communication and presentation skills.
