Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive the end-to-end apparel development process for assigned products, ensuring integrity, engineering quality, and timely completion aligned to the corporate operating calendar.
  • •Lead fit approval and size specification, run fitting meetings, and make decisions on workmanship and construction.
  • •Analyze designs for manufacturability and material properties; manage handover of the design pack to Tier 1 (T1) with complete technical information.
  • •Research and implement innovations from markets or suppliers (garment construction, pattern, fit, embellishments, trims) in partnership with Innovation and sourcing.
  • •Manage development sample testing, escalations, costing validation and sign-offs (including sealing sample sign-off and data accuracy) to meet adidas standards and KPIs.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree in clothing technology or manufacturing, or a technical degree as an apparel technician (or an equivalent mix of education, experience, and training).
  • •First practical experience through internships or work experience.
  • •Basic knowledge of material construction and related testing, including wear and physical product testing.
  • •Ability to fit a garment and comment to Tier 1 suppliers on changes required.
  • •English language proficiency (reading and writing) and strong IT skills (MS Office, product data management systems).
