Key Responsibilities

•Operate heavy equipment safely within designed parameters to support daily construction activities.
•Perform pre- and post-shift inspections and check necessary equipment parts to ensure proper function.
•Excavate holes and ditches, move materials, and load materials into trucks for hauling.
•Use equipment to grade terrain and maintain safe slopes on excavations.
•Locate utilities and buried lines prior to digging, perform minor servicing/maintenance, and assist labor crew as needed.

Key Requirements

•Must have a current and valid driver's license.
•Prior equipment operation experience in construction or related environments.
•Must conform to and maintain OSHA, MSHA, DOT and all other company or state rules and regulations.
•Must be a current member or join Operator’s Union, Local 400 within 30 days of hire.
•Must have current US authorization to work (or ability to obtain without company assistance) prior to start date.
