You’ll install, repair, and maintain motors, control panels, lighting, wiring, and power distribution; troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics and blueprints; and respond to urgent problems. Follow LOCKOUT/TAGOUT and GMPs, ensure OSHA/NEC compliance, collaborate with maintenance leaders, and document repairs to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities

•Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems including motors, control panels, lighting, wiring, and power distribution.
•Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues throughout the plant to minimize downtime and support continuous production.
•Follow safety protocols such as LOCKOUT/TAGOUT and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and ensure compliance with OSHA and NEC.
•Collaborate with maintenance and plant teams, prioritize tasks with the Maintenance Supervisor, and keep records of maintenance and repairs.
•Support plant-wide electrical needs, including emergency response, plant shutdown support, and installing new equipment or electrical upgrades.

Key Requirements

•Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent plus 2+ years related experience (or equivalent combination), required.
•PLC experience highly desired.
•Read and write fluently in English to understand technical/training manuals.
•Ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact with all levels of personnel and outside contractors.
•Ability to operate a forklift, genie lift, or scissor lift (preferred).
