Job Summary

Lead engineering for overhead distribution and transmission projects (46 kV–138 kV) within the West Region, providing technical leadership, project planning, and mentorship. Manage scope, schedules, and client interactions, coordinate cross-disciplinary teams, uphold QA/QC standards, and travel as needed to client offices or sites. Strong focus on PLS-CADD, structure details, and safe, compliant project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and execute the engineering of distribution/transmission projects up to 138kV.
•Lead and/or support the initial project execution layout to ensure an efficient and effective project plan.
•Responsible for creating and maintaining a project schedule.
•Conduct weekly or bi-weekly project meetings to outline upcoming deliverables and tasks with the responsible personnel identified clearly.
•Coordinate with internal and external clients on project status and support project meetings as necessary.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
•7 to 10 years of relevant post-education experience as an electrical engineer delivering design for transmission/distribution projects at utility, industrial, or commercial scale.
•Engineering license required (multi-state preferred).
•Understanding of the NESC, RUS, and/or GO-95.
•Strong knowledge of power delivery engineering principles, practices, and design/build processes; ability to apply to permitting and project work.
