Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

•Review and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including local and cross-border client engagements, master service agreements, and tenders.
•Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for fact-finding and negotiation.
•Support contract risk mitigation initiatives, including audits and deployment processes.
•Develop and improve contract templates and manage template changes across New Zealand.
•Monitor recurring contractual issues, identify trends, and conduct in-house training to embed best practices.

Key Requirements

•Law degree with a solid understanding of contract law and legal principles.
•Experience with New Zealand law is preferred.
•Strong commercial acumen and the ability to assess risk pragmatically to enable business outcomes.
•Excellent legal drafting and writing skills.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage business stakeholders and drive contract negotiations.
