Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead end-to-end localisation of the Wise App and web interface from English to Modern Standard Arabic (MSA), maintaining a natural fintech user experience.
  • •Localise Product/Marketing/Support content while preserving correct meaning, context, and tone of the source text.
  • •Partner with QA managers, product managers, engineers, and UX designers to perform linguistic QA and context testing for RTL layout and readability.
  • •Proofread and edit translated content for linguistic accuracy and clarity, and continuously improve Arabic quality using user feedback, app reviews, and product data.
  • •Define and maintain Arabic voice, glossary, guidelines, and terminology; troubleshoot i18n and Arabic/RTL layout issues and advise marketing, product, and engineering on regional user perceptions.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 35,000 - 48,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Native-level fluency in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and 2 to 3 years of localisation experience.
  • •Experience localising content for product, marketing, and support, with the ability to adapt tone and style accurately.
  • •Deep technical understanding of Right-to-Left (RTL) language frameworks and experience handling RTL/BiDi layout challenges.
  • •Familiarity with CAT, TMS and/or MT tools and best practices for quality management processes and workflows.
