Key Responsibilities

  • •Process U.S. Army equipment/materiel turn-ins in accordance with AR 710-2, AR 735-5, and DA PAM 710-2-1.
  • •Verify turn-in documentation accuracy and completeness (e.g., DA Form 1348-1A, DD Form 200, hand receipts).
  • •Conduct visual inspections, apply condition codes (A–H), and identify/segregate unserviceable, reparable, or excess items.
  • •Maintain accurate property accountability by entering and reconciling records in Army logistics systems (GCSS-Army, DPAS, or LMP), including assisting with discrepancy research and property adjustments.
  • •Safely store and stage equipment, operate forklifts/pallet jacks and other MHE, and support audits/PARs and inspections; perform additional Armorer duties as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • •2–4 years of logistics, warehousing, or supply experience in an Army or contractor environment (preferred).
  • •Knowledge of Army logistical functions, including turn-in/supply/property accountability operations and related regulations (AR 710-2, AR 735-5, DA PAM 710-2-1).
  • •Familiarity with Army logistics systems (GCSS-Army, DPAS, LMP) and equipment conditioning, coding, and serviceability classification standards.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to operate MHE safely; must be able to obtain/maintain CAC and Tier1/NACI (Public trust) background eligibility.
