Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain plant facilities and utility systems (including refrigeration, process safety programs, air compressors, wastewater drains, nitrogen systems, fire sprinklers, pumps, city water systems, wastewater treatment, and HVAC).
  • •Troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical and mechanical equipment throughout the building.
  • •Plan alternate activities to maximize work opportunities during unscheduled downtime or work delays.
  • •Partner with production, central engineering, research and development, contractors, and other operational groups to support new processes, production lines, and plant trials.
  • •Maintain records and inventories while keeping work areas organized, clean, and compliant with safety and 5S standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Two-year technical degree in a related field or equivalent maintenance experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment and facility utility systems.
  • •Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), frequency drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, refrigeration systems, boiler systems, and HVAC systems.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical and mechanical equipment throughout the building.
  • •Preferred: food manufacturing experience, including familiarity with process safety, sanitary design, 5S methodologies, and continuous improvement practices.
  • •Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with variable temperatures and noise, including being on your feet, climbing stairs/ladders, and frequent lifting/pushing/carrying.
