Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to structural design of bridge structures from inception to completion.
  • •Undertake bridge assessment activities, including on-site inspection and analysis across project stages.
  • •Use industry-leading computer software to support bridge-specific structural work such as structural design and finite elements analysis.
  • •Support structural inspections and structural renewal feasibility studies.
  • •Assist with on-site works supervision and scheme management activities for structures.

Key Requirements

  • •BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with a 2:1 classification (or equivalent) or above.
  • •Ability to demonstrate a good technical understanding of Civil & Structural Engineering.
  • •Demonstrable interest in Bridge Structures Engineering and developing a career in this industry.
  • •Willing and able to work towards chartership with the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE) or Institute of Structural Engineers (IStructE).
  • •Good Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
