Job Summary

Join the FP&A team to own budgeting, forecasting, and P&L oversight for the Sophos Technology Group. You’ll build and maintain dynamic financial models, analyze variances and headcount, and drive cost optimization through process improvements and automation. Partner cross-functionally to translate complex data into actionable business insights, support month-end cadence, and improve financial planning with modern analytics and planning tools.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage processes around headcount, vendor-level spending, third-party hosting, and other expenses to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting.
•Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve financial processes using AI, business intelligence, and modern analytics tools.
•Maintain a working understanding of business models (e.g., Cloud Hosting, Services) including ACV, revenue, utilization, and capacity planning.
•Build and maintain financial models, reports, variance analysis, and communication materials.
•Partner with cross-functional leadership to support cost optimization, business transformation initiatives, and month-end/business partnering cadence.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 78,000 - 130,000 annually

Key Requirements

•3+ years of experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, Corporate Finance, or a related analytical role, ideally supporting a SaaS or technology business.
•Experience with operating expense planning, headcount management, forecasting, and financial modeling.
•Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build dynamic, scalable financial models.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data and translate it into business insights.
•Experience with financial planning systems such as Adaptive Planning, OfficeConnect, SAP, or similar FP&A tools.
