Job Summary

Join Cloudflare’s Infrastructure team as a Network Reliability Engineer responsible for operating and engineering Cloudflare’s core data center network. Plan, install and manage hardware/software, run day-to-day network operations, build automation to streamline tasks, and contribute to system design to deliver a high-performance, scalable network accessible to web properties worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate and engineer Cloudflare’s core data center network, including planning, installation and management of hardware and software, and day-to-day network operations.
•Build tools to automate operational tasks, streamline deployment processes and provide a platform for other engineering teams to build upon.
•Play a key role in system design and bring ideas from design to production.
•Collaborate with a team of network engineers to build a high-performance, scalable network accessible to web properties online.
•Leverage AI-native approaches to automate configurations and troubleshooting, and to parse complex logs for documentation and improvement.

Key Requirements

•3 years of relevant Network/Site Reliability Engineering experience.
•BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
•Solid foundation on configuration management frameworks: Saltstack, Ansible, Chef.
•Experience with NX-OS, JUNOS, EOS, Cumulus, or Sonic Network Operating Systems.
•Solid Linux systems administration experience; Strong software development skills in Go and Python.
