Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and regularly update Starlink’s Quality Management System (QMS) and train personnel on ISO 9001 compliance and industry standards.
  • •Assess core business processes, systems, and products through internal audits to ensure compliance with customer requirements, SpaceX procedures, and ISO 9001 standards.
  • •Use corrective and preventive action processes to address compliance non-conformances and drive improvements in the management system and Starlink product quality.
  • •Support internal audits, vendor/supplier audits, and audits from external parties.
  • •Identify the largest quality-related issues and risks affecting Starlink product manufacturing and partner with stakeholders to minimize risk.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor degree in an engineering or STEM discipline.
  • •1+ years of experience in mechanical or electrical product design, testing, or manufacturing.
  • •Thorough knowledge of the ISO family of standards, especially ISO 9001.
  • •ASQ-CQA-RAB certified lead auditor (or training with hands-on implementation and assessment experience).
  • •Experience with quality tools and methods such as root cause and corrective action, QMS and process auditing, and statistical analysis of quality metrics.
