Own the end-to-end credit process for HSBC Wholesale Banking customers, partnering with Relationship Managers to structure short- and long-term credit solutions aligned to customer financial needs. Analyze risks to ensure compliance with Mexican banking regulation and internal policies, prepare English credit applications using financial statements and industry analysis, monitor lending portfolio terms, and coordinate effectively with credit services, operations, legal, and other supporting teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Partner with Relationship Managers to structure credit solutions for corporate customers, supporting growth of the lending portfolio.
•Identify and assess financing risks to ensure credit risk mitigation and compliance with Mexican banking regulation and HSBC internal policies.
•Prepare 100% English credit applications, including analysis of financial statements, industry analysis, and annual projections to predict repayment capacity.
•Monitor lending portfolio compliance (financial and non-financial terms) and ensure completeness of credit files to facilitate payments and disbursements.
•Act as a customer-facing point of contact to follow up on documentation and gather firsthand information for borrower analysis and monitoring.

Key Requirements

•2 years of credit analysis experience.
•Strong analysis skills and ability to understand business and industry drivers.
•Proactive communication and partnership with Relationship Managers and supporting groups.
•Strong organization skills to manage and sequence multiple deliverables.
•BS/BA in Economy, Actuarial Science, Financial Management, Public Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or Chemical Engineering, with proficiency in English.
