Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, organize, and lead the project end-to-end from initiation to closure, ensuring delivery within agreed tolerances for time, cost, scope, quality, risk, and benefits.
  • •Develop and maintain the project implementation plan with milestones; monitor progress, control variances, manage changes, and advise on mitigating project risks.
  • •Comply with policies and legal requirements; manage reporting obligations and keep project information and documentation updated for audit support.
  • •Coordinate with donors, partners, beneficiaries, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment with contractual commitments and WHO performance standards.
  • •Lead knowledge management and quality assurance, and organize/structure the project team with guidance, performance management, and safety/security compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •First-level university degree in public administration, international development studies, international relations, public health, or a related field, with five years of relevant experience.
  • •At least 2 years of relevant experience delivering complex multi-country public health projects with donors and national/sub-national government authorities and implementing partners.
  • •Experience in project planning, implementation, and control, including project communication and reporting.
  • •Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and experience managing project risks in a multi-stakeholder context.
  • •Experience providing technical assistance and capacity building, including designing and delivering training and workshops.
