Job Summary

Oversee construction projects managed from the Syracuse office, covering potential work sites in Syracuse and Cortland. Provide construction management inspection for multi-trade contracts to ensure compliance with contract requirements, quality control, and safety standards. Monitor work and materials, coordinate with regional code and safety teams, supervise inspectors, prepare construction reports and daily logs, and help resolve conflicts to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide construction management inspection for multi-trade contracts to ensure work meets contract requirements.
•Monitor work and materials to maintain quality control standards and coordinate with the Regional Code Officer.
•Perform inspections, prepare construction reports, expedite contract execution, and supervise inspectors.
•Maintain a written daily log of project progress, actions, workforce, materials approvals/deliveries, and job-site issues.
•Monitor contractor safety operations and coordinate with the Regional Safety Manager as needed.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma.
•Minimum of 9 years of experience, including 6 years in construction involving multiple phases of large-scale building/rehabilitation projects with supervision.
•Minimum 4 years of experience as a Superintendent or Inspector on large-scale, multi-contract building projects.
•Ability to develop and communicate a project work plan, monitor manpower and performance, and compare design drawings across trades for coordination.
•OSHA 30 certification and strong communications, collaborative, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
