Key Responsibilities

•Lead detailed DFM reviews and evaluate GD&T and component specifications for mass production transition
•Review design documents and specifications, collaborating with the design team to finalize them
•Provide analyses and recommendations for feature and manufacturing cost tradeoffs during the design phase
•Identify manufacturing technologies relevant to new design concepts and advise on the best execution methods
•Develop manufacturing cost models and work with sourcing to establish cost targets and tooling requirements

Key Requirements

•5+ years in a manufacturing engineering role with NPI or CM experience
•Experience manufacturing medical disposables at scale (injection molding, welding, films, flexures, inserts/overmolds, packaging, labeling)
•Experience taking a product from concept to launch and scale
•Design skills including GD&T, design validation, and inspection
•Demonstrated SolidWorks proficiency
