Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead detailed DFM reviews and evaluate GD&T and component specifications for mass production transition
  • •Review design documents and specifications, collaborating with the design team to finalize them
  • •Provide analyses and recommendations for feature and manufacturing cost tradeoffs during the design phase
  • •Identify manufacturing technologies relevant to new design concepts and advise on the best execution methods
  • •Develop manufacturing cost models and work with sourcing to establish cost targets and tooling requirements

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years in a manufacturing engineering role with NPI or CM experience
  • •Experience manufacturing medical disposables at scale (injection molding, welding, films, flexures, inserts/overmolds, packaging, labeling)
  • •Experience taking a product from concept to launch and scale
  • •Design skills including GD&T, design validation, and inspection
  • •Demonstrated SolidWorks proficiency
