Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with Account Executives on pre-sales activities including opportunity qualification, demonstrations, Proof-of-Concept, RFPs, design documentation, and technical presentations.
  • •Lead the technical and product sale by recommending best-practice solutions and guiding customers on using Twilio’s APIs.
  • •Take the lead in discovery to understand customer technical pains, then design, demonstrate, and present solutions that address business challenges.
  • •Build and present highly interactive and engaging customer product demonstrations and form strong relationships with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • •Take initiative to identify and solve problems for customers and within the organization, and contribute to the Solutions Engineering community through reusable demonstration materials.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years pre-sales experience selling complex, technical products, or 6+ years professional experience supporting technical products with customer-facing experience in delivery/consulting.
  • •Excellent communicator and presenter who can gain audience confidence.
  • •Ability to build deep understanding of a customer’s communications needs and guide them to a technical solution.
  • •Previous software development experience or working knowledge relevant to the technical discipline.
  • •Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in a technical discipline (Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science) or equivalent practical experience.
