Key Responsibilities

  • •Become an integral member of the Human Resources organization while learning in a team environment and collaborating with managers on important projects.
  • •Collaborate with multiple HR analytics and talent teams, including organizational development, talent acquisition, talent strategy, leadership development, change management, HR consultants, and inclusion & diversity.
  • •Complete meaningful analytics tasks and contribute to projects while building relationships with interns and personnel across all levels.
  • •Obtain a broad overview of NiSource operations and current events in the utilities industry.
  • •Participate in professional development exercises and team-building activities throughout the internship program.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 17.2 - 27.8 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Currently enrolled in an accredited university with a major in a related discipline such as Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Business Analytics, or Human Resources with a strong quantitative focus.
  • •Completion of intermediate-level coursework.
  • •Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • •Experience with data tools and analytics, including Microsoft Office Suite and advanced Excel.
  • •Experience with Power BI and data-focused work such as data visualization, survey analysis, and data cleaning/validation.
